Tyres

Arguably the most essential component of any land vehicle, tyres as we know them today had their beginnings in the 1870s. This was when German tyre-maker, Caoutchouc, and Italian company, Pirelli, both started using rubber in their manufacturing. About a decade later, French company, Michelin developed the first, glue-free rubber tyre. By the 1890s, Goodyear in the US were making tyres of their own.
Here in Asia, Bridgestone of Japan began manufacturing their own tyres in the 1930s. Another 40 years later, Hwa Kong in Singapore became the distributor a wide range of quality tyres for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. We have become the stockist and wholesaler for Singapore and the overseas market.
Hwa Kong’s tyre ranges include Bridgestone, CEAT, Chaoyang and Taihao. For Passenger Car Tyres, we offer Bridgestone, Petlas and Michelin, while for Commercial Vehicle Tyres, we offer Bridgestone and CEAT tyres for trucks, light trucks, and off-road vehicles.
